Hello Everyone!
We hope everyone has been having an amazing February! With Spring just around the corner we have been getting ready and have an exciting announcement! We now have Seeds at the Market for all you growers! π±
Good Thymes Garden has recently joined us at the Downtown Farmers Market and have their products located in the Market Store. Good Thymes is a local, woman owned and operated, two acre, high intensity, sustainable farm that is located on a land lease outside of Leduc that grows herbs, vegetables, fruits, edible and non-edible flowers, specialty items, & NOW SEEDS! With a focus on no-till, no waste, natural growing, it is herbicide and pesticide free on land that has used natural growing methods for decades.
Looking for less flowers and more veggies? Reclaim Organics has you covered! Reclaim Farm is a small organic farm located by Pigeon Lake, AB. Despite their size they grow a wide variety of Salad Greens, Micro Greens, Stir Fry Greens, Root Vegetables, Herbs, Cucurbits, Nightshades, Edible Flowers, Pickled Vegetables, and Seeds! Find your micro-green seeds, & tomato seeds at Reclaim’s Booth on the Main Floor and have all your questions answered by their knowledgeable staff.
So lets get growing! See you all this upcoming weekend for many fun events! We are open year-round every Saturday 9-3, and Sunday 11-3.

MARKET ANNOUNCEMENT!
We dipped our toe in the water and learned itβs still too cold to swim! First and foremost, we would like to THANK our vendors and customers for supporting this initial change. Unfortunately, attendance on Fridays was not enough to support having this additional Market day.
We would like to highlight that we tried our best marketing efforts through additional channels such as post cards, communication with adjacent businesses in the community, and interviews with the local media, but attendance remained low.
At this time we would like to focus on our current customer base who is telling us their preferred market days are on the weekend. Starting December 3rd, the Downtown Farmers Market will be open Saturdays 9-3, and Sundays 11-3.
The last FRIDAY MARKET DAY will be NOVEMBER 25!
We are constantly trying to find ways to make our market better and will continue to do so to provide our vendors and customers the best Farmers Market experience possible.
Thank you again for supporting local! β€οΈ
